Description
ACE-031 Nasal Spray
ACE-031 nasal spray peptide contains a synthesized protein composed of immunoglobulin G1-Fc (known as IgG1-Fc) and activin receptor type IIB. This peptide has the ability to bind to myostatin and similar proteins in the muscle, preventing them from functioning normally. However, research shows it effectively maintains muscle strength and muscle mass in patients with primary muscle wasting disorders and neuromuscular diseases.

Research
When ACE 031 is administered intravenously, the IIB activin receptor (ACVR2B) is an effective modulator of muscle growth in humans. ACVR2B binds to and inactivates the muscle growth inhibitor myostatin. According to research, reducing the activin receptor increases muscle cell mass in mouse models. The relationship between ace-031 and the therapy of muscle-wasting illnesses like Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) has led to multiple clinical trials [1]. Scientists have found that other gametocyte organelles rely on Activin receptors as well, for example sperm. Prostate cancer generally has an inactive receptor, while several kinds of colorectal cancer have damaged or defective receptors.
Ace-031 nasal spray peptide, the anti-catabolic hormone myostatin, plays a critical role in the growth and repair of skeletal muscle, especially in those muscles used for exercise. The pituitary gland is the primary source of the hormone, which causes muscle tissue to degenerate and lose density. However, the hormone is more effective in low concentrations and low quantities.
Liposuction and other surgical procedures can alter the pituitary gland’s ability to secrete the hormone, therefore, those who have undergone these procedures have seen a significant decrease in their hormone production. Individuals with lower levels of the myostatin hormone in their blood have been shown to be unable to gain as much muscle mass as ordinary people [2]. In addition, the majority of patients with lower levels of myostatin become less muscular than the subjects who do not undergo surgery. Studies have shown that Ace 031 could counteract these affects.
A lack of protein in the body after a workout can also impact myostatin production, referred to as “muscle wasting syndrome” by the scientific community. The amino acid L-Glutamine, found in protein supplements, has been shown in one study to increase metabolism and myostatin production [3].
Ace-031 nasal spray shows promise as a therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular conditions as it can help muscle composition, aid in muscle repair and promote muscle growth. It has also shown potential for improving bone mineral density and chemotherapy induced muscle atrophy. In addition, the peptide has demonstrated powerful anabolic and anti-catabolic properties that help keep muscle mass stable, whilst reducing body fat.
