Description
Tesamorelin Pre-Mixed Pen 2mg
Tesamorelin pre-mixed pen 2mg is a lipophilic peptide that has been clinically proven to be efficient in reducing belly fat. It was first used to treat lipodystrophy in HIV patients. It is also being researched for its ability to reduce body fat in obese people.
Lipodystrophy is the medical word for excessive body fat in certain areas of the abdomen, hips, and pelvis. When a person has lipodystrophy, the skin around the body becomes loose and saggy, resulting in a waxy, bumpy appearance around the body. Lipodystrophy most commonly affects the thighs, hips, and abdomen.
Lipodystrophy can result in a wide range of symptoms such as weariness, anxiety, irritability, weight gain, and chronic discomfort.
Lipodystrophy can lead to major health difficulties and problems in people who have extra abdominal fat.

Research
Fat loss
The pre-mixed Tesamorelin pen stimulates the pituitary gland to release GHRH, which accelerates lipolysis. Lipolysis is the process by which triglycerides and lipids are broken down to induce fat loss.
Triglycerides and lipids are fats found in the body that are stored for energy. High amounts of either can put you at risk for a variety of diseases, including heart disease.
Tesamorelin functions by decreasing visceral fat. Mice given Tesamorelin for weight loss lost 15% of their body weight in 26 weeks in experiments [1].
Another 2014 study discovered Tesamorelin reduced liver fat by 18%, when injected under the naval of the test mice once a day.
Lypodystrophy
Tesamorelin is most commonly used to treat HIV-associated lipodystrophy, which is caused by both HIV infection and antiretroviral medication. Lipodystrophy is characterised by excessive fat accumulation in the belly and other areas. The physiologic mechanism is unknown; nevertheless, it is thought that protease inhibitors play a significant role in the aetiology of lipodystrophy [2].
Patients with lipodystrophy were initially treated with diet, exercise, and some ineffective medications. Surgery was a last resort if all else failed, and it was usually useless and complicated. Tesamorelin was approved by the FDA in 2010 for HIV-associated lipodystrophy. In this cohort, the drug lowers adiposity by roughly 20% [2]. Tesamorelin appears to be four times more effective in decreasing adiposity than all other known medicines [3].
HIV and GH deficiency
Recent study has linked HAART to endocrine and metabolic disorders, such as GH deficiency. Because HIV affects the pituitary gland, approximately one-third of HAART patients have GH insufficiency [4]. This could explain why lipodystrophy is so common in HIV patients and why the Tesamorelin pre-mixed pen is such a excellent therapy treatment. Tesamorelin is a safe and effective alternative to exogenous GH, particularly for those living with HIV.
Heart Disease
HIV-positive people are more likely to develop cardiovascular disease as a result of increased fat deposition and, in part, antiretroviral treatment activity. CVD prevention is regarded as the most important medical intervention for long-term well-being in HIV-positive persons after highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART). Until recently, statins were the cornerstone of medical therapy.
Tesamorelin improves lipodystrophy and lowers triglycerides, total cholesterol, and non-HDL-C in HIV-positive patients. Furthermore, the pre-mixed Tesamorelin pen decreases visceral adipose tissue by 15% and triglyceride levels by 50 mg [5].
Notably, inflammation is connected to ectopic fat deposition in lipodystrophy. Inflammation is a risk factor for CVD. Visceral, hepatic, and epicardial fat are all associated with an increased risk of CVD. Tesamorelin decreases inflammation and the risk of CVD by reducing ectopic fat deposition.
Nerve Damage
Peripheral nerve loss can be caused by injury, diabetes, or surgery; however, nothing can be done to treat the problem because nerve cells are notoriously difficult to repair. However, research suggests that growth hormone modification therapy may increase the healing and speed of peripheral nerve injury [6]. Because of FDA approval, tesamorelin is now the frontrunner for such an intervention.
Dementia
GHRH analogues, such as Tesamorelin, have been shown to improve cognition in people with early dementia [7]. One study, for example, discovered that taking Tesamorelin pre-mixed peptide or other GHRH analogues for 20 weeks boosted GABA levels in the brain while decreasing MI levels. These discoveries open up new avenues for scientists to investigate in quest of a cure or preventative measure.
